Audit Intern

Job Summary:

The Audit Intern performs and completes procedures on audit programs and prepares work papers to support tasks performed.

Responsibilities:

• Compares data contained in a variety of financial records in order to detect trends, errors, anomalies or problems.
• Makes recommendations for improving internal controls.
• Completes required schedules, account analyses, worksheets, and projects.
• Prepares and presents written and oral reports.
• Performs other accounting and auditing duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintains the confidentiality of the firm and its clients.

Qualifications:

• Working towards obtaining or has recently obtained a Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Strong analytical ability and judgement
• Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment
