Our client is seeking a hands-on Interim Controller to lead day-to-day financial operations, manage cash flow, and strengthen forecasting and compliance processes. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who can quickly step in, take ownership, and provide stability and insight during a transition period.

About the Role

The Interim Controller will oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and compliance functions while partnering closely with executive leadership to support strategic goals. This role requires a technically strong accounting leader who enjoys working independently, can manage complex financials with precision, and has the confidence to make decisions without requiring extensive direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage all aspects of cash flow, forecasting, and banking activity to ensure financial stability.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and analytical tools to support strategic planning.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with federal regulations and organizational policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate with minimal oversight, demonstrating initiative, sound judgment, and strong leadership.
