Position Overview

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.

Principal Accountabilities

• Ensure the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, wage, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA, and others necessary for legal operation.
• Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
• Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness, fostering a cheerful and fun work environment aligned with Firehouse Subs' culture, beliefs, and values.
• Ensure profitability by managing food costs, labor, utilities, and sales growth within established guidelines.
• Implement current operations game plans and company initiatives effectively and timely.
• Manage staffing to ensure qualified personnel are hired, trained, and developed appropriately.
• Oversee the ongoing training and development of the Assistant Manager and Shift Managers.
• Participate actively in local restaurant marketing efforts.
• Promote and implement all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
• Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule.
• Engage in community affairs to leverage sales and PR opportunities.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the GM / Owner regarding any issues impacting the business.
• Maintain restaurant equipment in full working order and report problems immediately.
• Work on your feet for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Owner.
