Construction Manager
KBP Brands is seeking a Construction Manager who embodies a passion for excellence, integrity, and teamwork. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of Restaurant Ground Up, Conversions, and Remodel construction projects within your assigned territory.
From budgeting to completion, you will ensure that projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.
What You’ll Do :
Manage all phases of construction projects, including budgeting, due diligence, design, permitting, and onsite supervision.
Serve as the primary point of contact for General Contractors and Superintendents, coordinating all project needs.
Oversee purchasing of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and installation.
Collaborate with the Director of Construction & Real Estate to accurately estimate costs and adhere to budgets and timelines.
Partner with various stakeholders, including Real Estate directors, Legal Counsel, and Landlords, to negotiate and finalize project details.
Ensure compliance with building and safety regulations at all construction sites.
Conduct routine visits to monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise.
Coordinate with Marketing & Operations teams to facilitate successful operational openings for remodels and new builds.
Prepare and present project reports to leadership on a weekly basis.
Schedule and participate in meetings with city officials, architects, and civil teams as needed.
Manage large capital projects for existing facilities within your territory.
Coordinate repairs for newly acquired stores and handle municipal violation notices or inspection items.
What We’re Looking for :
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in restaurant construction, with a preference for facility management experience.
This position will require 65-70% travel, we highly encourage applicants from various parts of the United States.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP Applications and Project Management Systems. Experience with Oracle or Workday applications is a plus.
Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
Demonstrated work ethic and professionalism, with the ability to work autonomously.
