Quality Manager
The Quality Manager will oversee a team of two Quality Technicians and spearhead quality initiatives within the plant, focusing on process improvements. This role involves identifying process failures and providing corrective actions to prevent future issues, as well as coaching and training team members.
Responsibilities :
- Lead technical service and quality efforts to identify and implement opportunities for improved process control and end product quality and consistency.
- Develop, plan, and implement process or product improvement projects in the manufacturing environment.
- Manage, organize, and control work instructions and other documents / records in support of quality management systems and audits.
- Identify and lead data-driven process control and improvement projects, utilizing continuous improvement methodologies including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints.
- Analyze key metrics for trends and identify process improvement opportunities to ensure continuous improvements by production and maintenance teams.
- Oversee data collection systems used for process monitoring and improvements.
- Develop plant operations and technical employees' problem-solving skills and understanding of data analysis and process improvement.
- Influence and coach Quality Technicians for personal and technical development.
- Influence and coach the production team on QMS and continuous improvement techniques.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00 / hr.
