Quality Engineer

Job Title :

• Quality Engineer Classification :      Exempt Department :       Quality Assurance Reports to :           Quality Assurance Manager Shift :                    Monday- Friday Purpose : Responsible for monitoring product quality throughout all stages of the production process.
• Works will all departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Follow accepted policies and procedures to ensure a robust Quality Management System is maintained.

General Duties :

Responsible for creating PPAP submissions, control plans, inspection standards, APQP documentation, FMEA, process flow, and additional quality related documentation Works directly with other departments to determine process and equipment parameters Conducts analysis, using engineering and statistical methodologies, in the development of new, revised and refined process enhancements; renders technical expertise and assistance to operators; develops sound operating practices and procedures for assigned area Ensures that customer’s quality requirements are met and monitored on a regular basis Supports corrective and preventative actions for internal and external quality issues Contributes to the continuous improvement process of the QMS Conducts internal and external quality audits as needed on-site and at off-site locations Performs other duties as required Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) Skills :
