The Precision Strike (PS) Finance Team, in the Strategic Sensors and Precision Strike (SSPS) Mission area has an immediate need for a Business Manager supporting the Paveway Program of guided munitions.

The Paveway Business Manager is an integral part of the PS Finance leadership team. The selected individual will be responsible for all aspects of Business Finance execution activities including Program Cost Controls, Proposals, Financial Planning and Analysis, Estimates at Completion (EACs) and overall financial execution of the Paveway program.

The selected individual must be an excellent communicator with a strong desire to learn while being aggressively challenged. Competitive applicants must have the ability to think on their feet, provide accurate and insightful management analysis with recommendations, manage competing priorities and interact with various levels of management, including Program Directors, Program Managers, and various Program Management office representatives to ensure alignment regarding strategy, operating, and financial objectives.

This position will be onsite at Tucson, AZ.

What You Will Do

• Lead and manage a team of financial analysts by providing support, mentorship and training
• Quarterly development of Estimate at Completion (EACs)
• Interfacing with Program Management Office and the Integrated Product Leadership Team and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
• Support monthly pre-close and month end close activities including risk and opportunity management
• Support the development of product group level inputs and updates to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) objectives
• Meet critical deadlines while managing multiple conflicting priorities
• Use strong analytical abilities to understand data quickly in order to make informed business decisions
• Prepare finance charts for Program Business Reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required
• Participation in key leadership strategy reviews
• Support proposal development, submittal, negotiations and program start up activities
• Management of earned value, analysis of program performance ensuring compliance with internal EVM policy and 10255

What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
