About the Role
As Chef's second Marketing hire, you will be a founding member of our growing go-to-market team. You will draft and publish content across all of Chef's Marketing channels, plan events and trade show exhibits from start to finish, influence strategy and execution for many of Chef's Marketing initiatives, and collaborate closely with our Sales, Engineering, and Hardware teams. You will also spend up to 20% of your time helping with office management and company operations.
What You'll Do :
- Draft blog posts, press releases, email newsletters, customer case studies, social media posts, and website content across Chef's Marketing channels
- Own project management and logistics for Chef's trade shows and events
- Help plan, organize, promote, and draft content for podcasts and webinars
- Manage Chef's social media calendar and social media campaigns
- Help film, edit, and publish videos for Chef's YouTube channel
- Collaborate with Sales on one-pagers, presentations, and email outreach campaigns
- Strategize creative ways to increase inbound leads for Chef
- Explore paid marketing opportunities, such as trade journal ads and SEM
- Help keep the office running and tidy by instructing our cleaning crew, keeping a running list of housekeeping tasks, and staffing the reception desk for scheduled customer, investor, and candidate visits
What You Bring :

Chef is an early-stage startup where equity is a major part of the compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
