Our team is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to support multi-state payroll operations and help keep things running smoothly. What You'll Do

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing. In this role, you will :

• Process multi-state payroll for multiple locations weekly
• Ensure payroll reporting, labor approvals, and compliance standards are met
• Handle stop payments, reversals, and manual checks
• Support tasks such as validating / loading files, W-2 reissues, and per diem processing
• Reconcile monthly accounting tied to store-level payouts
• Manage garnishments and support new store openings
• Provide excellent service to employees and internal departments regarding payroll inquiries
• Create and manage payroll cases through CRM case tracking
• Cross-train on all payroll functions and assist with special projects
• Document processes and contribute to continuous improvements

What You Bring

Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred (experience may substitute) + 1+ year of payroll experience in a high-volume environment + Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical thinking + Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently + Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a deadline-driven atmosphere + Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Workday experience a plus + A proactive attitude and willingness to take on added responsibilities

Compensation

Hourly Rate : $26.42$31.42 (based on experience) Schedule Monday-Friday 8am-5pm / 100% onsite
