FlyOver America (flyover-america.com) is searching for a Guest Experience Guide with an entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude to join our team.
FlyOver America is a dynamic new visitor attraction now open at Mall of America. A flight simulation ride like no other, guests will soar across some of America’s most spectacular sights with the latest in flight ride technology.
In addition to a spectacular film, the ride’s dynamic seating system and special effects include wind, scents, mist and combine to create a truly immersive flight experience.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a positive outlook and a desire to make FlyOver America a one-of-a-kind, wonderful experience for guests.

- Greet guests and help create a positive and fun atmosphere
- Ensure guests have an accurate expectation of the experience prior to entering
- Check tickets and ensure experience is operated in a safe manner, immediately report any iRide safety issues
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash accurately according to cash handling standard operating procedures
- Complete daily sales reconciliation as required
- Accurately answer questions about the FlyOver America experience and be knowledgeable about locations featured during the film and the technology used
- Be knowledgeable about Mall of America to provide guests with value-added information
- Assist guests into the iRide gondolas, ensure they are safely fastened in seats
- Assist with evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency
- Ensure emergency exits are kept clear of garbage and debris
- Other duties as assigned DESIRED SKILLS
- Outstanding guest service skills
- Demonstrated cash-handling skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal-skills and a positive, friendly demeanor
- High attention to detail
- Great communication skills including the ability to speak in front of crowds
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift loads of up to 30 pounds as necessary QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years’ experience in the tourism / hospitality industry preferred
- 2+ years’ of cash handling / POS experience preferred
- Availability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
