Job Summary :

Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Nurse Aides / Certified Caregivers at our Liliha and Kane'ohe Facilities.

This is a full-time individual contributor position in the healthcare / medical industry located in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Nurse Aide / Certified Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care and support to our senior clients to help them maintain their independence and improve their overall well-being.

Compensation & Benefits :

This is a full-time position with a salary of $18 to $22 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.

Workplace Selection : Multiple facilities to choose from, select a workplace / Clients that suit your preferences

Responsibilities :

• Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and toileting for senior clients in accordance with their care plan
• Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional status to the appropriate supervisor
• Promote a safe and comfortable environment for clients by following proper infection control and safety protocols
• Foster positive relationships with clients and their families to meet their emotional and social needs
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of client care and complete all required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in ongoing training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements :

• Active certification as a Nurse Aide or Certified Caregiver in the state of Hawaii
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with seniors in a professional setting
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures
• Compassionate, patient, and able to provide physical and emotional support to clients
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
