Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Transportation Civil Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of highway and roadway related engineering experience.

This position will provide a unique opportunity for you to design and manage all aspects of a diverse array of public and private sector projects in a team environment.

Responsibilities for this position may include :

  • Plan and implement highway, local roadway, and multi-modal projects
  • Develop drawings, cost estimates and specifications for various improvements
  • Perform studies and write reports
  • Periodic transportation engineering support for other KPFF offices
  • Support project scoping, schedules and budgets
  • Engage with clients to define and achieve a successful outcome
  • Support business development pursuits to grow our business in the Inland NW

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional Engineering (PE) License in Idaho, or ability to attain one within 6 months
  • 8 years of experience providing civil engineering services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Leadership aptitude

Project experience with Idaho agencies, such as ITD, local highway districts, and local municipalities is highly desired.
