We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team in Athens, Georgia
Position Overview :
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products throughout the development and manufacturing processes.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective quality control measures and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities :
- Analyze product failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to address internal and external customer complaints.
- Communicate technical issues effectively with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare accurate and timely Production Part Approval Processes (PPAPs) for customers and review supplier PPAPs.
- Conduct quality audits of supplier operating systems as needed.
- Travel to supplier and customer locations to resolve issues and implement containment measures.
- Provide technical support and training to engineering and manufacturing personnel.
- Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and feasibility review meetings.
- Support and participate in internal audit activities.
- Manage the Material Review Board (MRB) hold area.
- Adhere to all plant and office safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing quality role.
- Strong understanding of AIAG-formatted PPAP requirements.
- Proficiency in quality analysis tools such as 8D and PFMEA.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
