Rivier University’s Division of Business and Security Studies seeks a qualified, credentialed candidate for Operations Management and/or Project Management Instructor – Adjunct Faculty. Reporting to the Director of Graduate Business programs, the Adjunct Instructor is responsible for providing operations management related courses with on-campus, face-to-face instruction at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will join the core Business and Security Studies faculty in the education of students, with the following primary responsibilities:
  • Assume teaching, advisement, and mentoring responsibilities for students in the traditional face-to-face teaching and learning model;
  • Undergraduate two daytime class meetings per week. Graduate one daytime and/or evening class meeting per week;
  • Participate in ongoing program growth and development, particularly with respect to the integration of technology throughout all program experiences; and
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, both in the division and throughout the University.

Qualifications (minimum requirements are listed):
  • Master's degree is required, a terminal degree in Operations Management and/or Project Management related or highly related field is preferred. These fields may include Operations and Quality Management, Project Management, Quantitative Process Improvements in Organizations, and Risk Management and Decision-Making;
  • The successful candidate will have college-level teaching, academic program, and curriculum development experience; and
  • The ability and willingness to support the mission of the University and to work collaboratively and collegially with departmental and institutional colleagues.
