Senior Manager - Controllership Operations - Spark Transformation

The Team Operations Lead will serve as a strategic partner and operational driver for the Controllership Transformation and Payroll leadership team. This role is responsible for ensuring alignment between vision, strategy, and execution, while also managing the day-to-day operational cadence of the business. The Team Operations Lead will own critical financial, planning, cultural, and communication processes, while also managing ad hoc projects and initiatives that require leadership-level oversight.

What You'll Do

About the Controllership Transformation and Payroll team :

We lead large projects, initiatives, and implementations for the Controllership team. We have blended the Payroll team and the Spark operating model to scale, transform, and globalize our pay processes and systems.

• Partner with leadership team to translate vision and goals into actionable strategies and priorities.
• Lead monthly P&L reviews and forecast updates to ensure financial accountability.
• Drive annual LRP (Long-Range Planning) and AOP (Annual Operating Plan) exercises.
• Track key initiatives and performance metrics, ensuring progress and timely escalation of issues as needed.
• Provide insights and data to support decision-making and strategy refinement.
• Develop project planning cycles and leadership reviews.
• Manage AES (Associate Engagement Survey) results, analysis, and follow-up activities throughout the year.
• Oversee SOWs, invoicing, and vendor management for Deloitte and other third-party partners.
• Organize in-person engagements and team connection events, such as "Coffee with Melanie" and team building events.
• Standardize processes, reporting, and communication practices to improve efficiency and clarity.
• Prepare agendas to ensure readiness for key meetings.
• Create high-quality presentations, reports, and communications for leadership and stakeholders.
• Support ad hoc needs, including data analysis, project support, and executive briefing preparation.
• Monitor team engagement and morale, surfacing insights and opportunities for improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years' experience in finance, accounting, or related area OR 6 years' experience in finance, accounting, or related area. 1 year's supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Relational Database Management System (RDMS), Working on cross-functional teams or projects Masters : Business Administration Financial & Insurance - Certified Public Accountant - Certification
