This is a Direct Hire position. It is 100% onsite (some travel too). Pay Range is $80K-$95K. Permanent resident only at this time.
Job Summary
Support the Frontline Construction Technology (FCT) team by developing, maintaining and supporting digital tools that improve project performance and construction efficiency. This role focuses on user-friendly solutions using platforms such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate. The Frontline Construction Tech Specialist will document processes, create training resources, and provide user support and troubleshooting. This position is ideal for someone with a problem-solving mindset, an interest in construction activities, creativity, and a passion for building simple, scalable tools that make work easier for our field teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain custom digital tools
- Create documentation including quick-start guides, best practices, and training material to improve tool adoption.
- Develop internal process documents that clearly outline application usage, workflows, and departmental standards.
- Provide day-to-day user support and troubleshoot issues related to FCT tools and processes.
- Collaborate with field teams and internal stakeholders to fully understand pain points and recommend solutions.
- Conduct field visits to identify problems, collaborate with project teams, and support adoption of FCT Tools.
- Work closely with the FCT Manager and team members to align tool development with departmental goals.
- Apply creative and critical thinking to solve operational problems and deliver practical solutions.
- Contribute feedback for continuous improvement of tools and processes.
Minimum Job Requirements
1 year of technical experience or demonstrated technology background (IT support, application development, or similar).
Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).Strong communication skills with the ability to create user-friendly documentation and deliver training.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small, high-impact team.Preferred Qualifications
Background or experience in construction operations or related industry.Experience supporting end users with technology adoption and troubleshooting.Familiarity with low-code / no-code platforms and rapid prototyping.
