What You Will Do :
- Manage the enterprise budgeting and forecasting processes, liaising with the firm's leadership to develop and track against revenue and expenditure targets
- Leverage data and analytical tools to proactively identify and provide insight on opportunities and areas of risk / concern for leadership and where appropriate, recommended actions
- Evaluate, enhance and / or architect operational processes for scale, simplicity and reliability
- Assist the Director of FP&A with model development to gain deeper insights with the goal of providing actionable information to all stakeholders
- Develop and maintain financial models and analysis for the firm's leadership to easily digest the business' financial performance and operational metrics relative to industry benchmarks
- Act as a Finance business partner to Business Unit and Office leaders
- Assist with the planning and implementation of firm-wide strategic initiatives
- Keep a pulse on finance industry trends and practices to ensure that we remain current and competitive with our peers
- Contribute into a dynamic environment that empowers and rewards those who take the initiative to develop a commercial acumen and learn the business model
Who You Are :
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a finance or business management disciplineAdvanced degree or professional certifications, nice to have.Minimum of 8+ years' work experience in an FP&A role, preferably with some exposure to legal or professional services.Minimum of 3+ years' people management experienceExperience with managing complex projects with multiple work streams and stakeholders.Ability to effectively manage, train and develop our financial analysts to align on strategic vision and execute on tactical objectivesAbility to synthesize and communicate clear and actionable insights from complex analysesVery strong communication / presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to create clear and impactful models in Excel and presentations in PowerPointDemonstrated strength in navigating Tableau as a data querying and analysis toolWorking knowledge of finance and accounting fundamentals and processesBenefits and More
