Accounting Manager

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Lead month, quarter, and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and financial statements

Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and oversee sales tax compliance across multiple states and countries

Identify efficiency opportunities in financial systems and implement scalable solutions

Required Qualifications

7 to 12 years of accounting experience, including time in public accounting

Experience in startup or high-growth tech environments

Deep expertise in US GAAP, particularly revenue recognition and internal controls

Proven ability to manage audits and maintain external auditor relationships

Experience with accounting systems and advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
