Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager, the ITS II performs comprehensive IT projects, systems development, business analysis, and technical consultation. Responsibilities include :

• Lead all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, analysis, testing, and technical support.
• Analyze complex business processes, develop system plans, create project schedules, and prioritize production and IT-business activities.
• Manage high-complexity IT projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and meet critical deadlines.
• Provide business application expertise, analytical communication skills, and troubleshoot time-sensitive IT operation issues.
• Support software engineering, IT project management, and business technology management domains.

Eligibility and Additional Information

Eligibility requires completion of the Information Technology Specialist II examination for new California State Service applicants. The position is subject to the California Department of Public Health telework program and may require business travel.
