The Workforce Movement Lead (director level) will drive the design and execution of innovative programsjob rotations, gigs, apprenticeships, and morethat elevate employee capability and drive business performance. With a sharp focus on technology integration, cross-functional collaboration, and data-informed insights, this leader will shape scalable strategies that transform how talent flows across the organization. It's a high-impact opportunity to architect change, influence outcomes, and build a workforce ready for what's next. We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations : San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA or Tampa, FL. The Work Ahead

• Talent Movement Strategy : Define the strategy and use-case for USAA to leverage various talent movement levers, including job rotations, temporary deployments, gigs, apprenticeships, etc. in service of talent development, workforce readiness, and business continuity
• Solution Development & Implementation : Develop and implement innovative workforce movement solutions that improve organizational performance, enhance employee skill proficiency and performance, and drive business results. Execute centrally managed solutions and enable scalability by packaging and proliferating playbooks for business teams to leverage.
• Trend Analysis & Insights : Analyze external trends, macroeconomic factors, and industry best practices to identify workforce movement opportunities and challenges.
• Indirect team leadership : Proactively engage, support, and influence program managers across the lines of business and functions who are delivering talent movement programs. Drive for cross-association consistency, effectiveness, learning and best practice sharing.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Co-creation : Partner with business leaders, HR, Finance, Technology and Strategy teams to co-create workforce movement strategies and plans that address specific business needs.
• AI & Technology Integration : Explore, evaluate, and integrate AI-powered tools and technologies to enhance workforce planning processes, improve efficiency, and drive scalability.
• Change Management Leadership : Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new workforce movement strategies and processes.
• Project Management : Manage complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and effective results.

Compensation range : The salary range for this position is : $127,310.00 - $243,340.00.

USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
