Shop Hand Technician

Join a company dedicated to architectural sheet metal and exterior building envelope systems, providing a range of services including sheet metal flashing and trim, metal wall and roof panels, exterior wall cladding, soffit panels, translucent and composite wall systems, waterproofing and air barriers, fiber cement siding, and fiberglass sandwich panel assemblies. The projects span across various sectors such as commercial, healthcare, industrial, institutional, and residential.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with the installation and maintenance of architectural sheet metal and exterior building systems.
• Operate hand tools and power tools for fabrication and mechanical tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
• Utilize forklifts and scissor lifts for equipment operation.
• Perform maintenance and welding tasks as required.
• Work outdoors in various climate conditions, including heights, ensuring all safety standards are met.

Work Environment :

This role requires working outdoors in all climate conditions above 20 degrees. Employees will work with heights and are expected to adhere to safety protocols. The position operates on a shift from 6am-4pm or until the work is completed.

Job Type & Location :

This is a permanent position based out of Shawnee, KS.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $47840.00 / yr. Bonus structure, insurance benefits, accrued PTO, 401k.
