Job Summary :
TempExperts is partnered with a thriving Gainesville, FL law firm for an Associate Attorney (Civil Litigation) position. The ideal candidate must have a Florida Bar License and experience in one or more of the following areas : Construction Law, Land Use, Zoning, Probate, Guardianship, and Family Law.
This is a fully in-office role with room for growth.
Responsibilities :
- Experience working in a law firm with substantial civil litigation experience.
- Must be conscientious, detail-oriented, and have exceptional analytical and writing skills.
- Must know about federal and state statutes, court rules, forms, processes, and procedures.
- Provide initial analysis of cases and develop case strategy.
- Take depositions of relevant parties and witnesses.
- Draft legal motions and attend hearings.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Assist and lead in trial proceedings.
- Other duties as assigned. Requirements :
- Florida Bar License.
- 3-5 years preferred (willing to accept applicants right out of law school and will train for the role).
