The Hiring Coordinator plays a key role in recruitment, onboarding, and compliance. Field superintendents and foremen identify staffing needs for their crews, and the Hiring Coordinator facilitates the recruiting, selection, and onboarding process in response. This role also handles candidate communications, interview logistics, and oversees the commercial driver file system to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. By maintaining accurate records and streamlining workflows, the Hiring Coordinator ensures a positive experience for candidates and field supervisors alike. Schedule : Weekdays 8 : 00 – 5 : 00 with an optional lunch hour

Responsibilities :
Recruitment & Hiring Support
- Serve as the main point of contact for candidates
- Source and screen candidates as needed based on field supervisors’ staffing requests
- Schedule interviews, assessments, and follow-up meetings with candidates and requesting supervisor(s)
- Maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases with accurate, up-to-date information
- Support pre-employment processes including background checks, reference checks, drug and alcohol screenings, and offer letters
- Post job openings on company website, job boards, and social media platforms
- Support participation in career fairs, including event registration, logistics, and on-site representation
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities and ensure required documentation is completed
- Work with HR and field supervisors to ensure hiring and onboarding processes are efficient and compliant with company policies and employment laws
Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) Driver File & Compliance Management
Maintain driver qualification files to ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulationsTrack and update required documents such as CDLs, medical certificates, MVRs, training records, and annual reviewsMonitor expiration dates and proactively coordinate renewals for licenses, certifications, and physicalsPartner with Safety and HR teams to ensure driver records are complete, accurate, and audit-readyAssist with preparation and documentation for compliance reviews and internal auditsGeneral HR / Administrative Support
Work with HR and field supervisors to refine hiring and onboarding processes while maintaining compliance with company policies and employment lawsAssist in developing standardized hiring and onboarding processes to support continuous improvementMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionQualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, related field, or equivalent experience1–3 years of HR, recruiting or administrative support experienceStrong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelExperience with ATS or HRIS platforms preferredFamiliarity with DOT and FMCSA regulations preferredKey Competencies :
