Senior Marine Engineer – Mechanical Engineer (3328)
Eagle Harbor, LLC , a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking Senior Marine Engineer - Mechanical Engineer with the ability to work as part of a team responsible for designing, producing and repairing safe, sea-worthy surface or underwater vessels for a position in Washington, DC.
The ideal candidate would have a proficiency in standard mechanical system design and analysis as well as have a creative, logical, and inquiring mind.
Responsibilities :
- Lead in the design, development, and evaluation and operation of marine vessels, ship machinery, and related equipment, such as power supply and propulsion systems.
- Perform design reviews, evaluations constructability reviews, helping resolve technical uses and managing information generated through design and construction phase.
- Lead marine engineering analysis related to vessels.
- Help team to create graphical representations of structures.
- Inspect equipment or systems.
- Research advanced engineering designs or applications.
- Support in preparation of technical reports for internal use.
Requirements :
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ten years of experience Supporting Major Shipbuilding Acquisition Programs.
- One year of experience with Shipbuilding Acquisitions.
- One year of experience supporting a Major System Acquisition Program, (DHS / USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT I or equivalent).
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
