Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers within the Controls and Accessories Sourcing Commodity.
• This team will be responsible for all production quality process for an assigned sub-set of suppliers inclusive of Supplier Quality Engineering and Product Quality Engineering with a focus on Product Quality Engineering and New Product Introduction.
• Manage supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, and performance monitoring.
• Drive root cause and corrective action plans across suppliers
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineers
• Identify gaps in quality system and implement corrective actions
• Balance both tactical execution with strategic initiatives
• Present product / program strategies, roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior leaders
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
• Utilize technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations
• Travel required up to 25%
