Summary
A powerful opportunity to lead clinical operations in a mission-driven, trauma-informed treatment environment serving clients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health needs. Clare Matrix is currently hiring three Clinical Program Managers across key programs : Detox, Women’s Residential Treatment, and Admissions. These leadership roles are ideal for LMFTs, LCSWs, or LPCCs who thrive in high-acuity environments, value collaboration, and are passionate about delivering compassionate, culturally responsive care every day.
What You’ll Do
Oversee daily clinical operations for one of the following :Detox Program – short-stay stabilization for clients withdrawing from substances, with high acuity and frequent coordination with medical teamsWomen’s Residential Treatment – longer-term care with intensive behavioral health needs and complex trauma historiesAdmissions Program – first point of contact for incoming clients, requiring strong triage skills and calm leadership during intake crisesLead and support multidisciplinary teams including therapists, counselors, and case managersSupervise licensed and pre-licensed clinicians, ensuring documentation and treatment plans meet county and QA standardsPartner with medical and operational staff to maintain continuity of care and contract complianceGuide teams through high-pressure situations, de-escalations, and emergencies with steady leadershipSupport performance feedback, team scheduling, and coverage coordinationFoster a collaborative, "in-the-trenches" culture where team members support each other in a dynamic, high-need settingExperience You’ll Need
Active California license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC3+ years of leadership experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or community mental healthStrong background working with clients facing trauma, homelessness, incarceration, and substance useExperience supervising staff and ensuring clinical documentation is audit-readyFamiliarity with electronic medical records, treatment planning, and county-driven standardsCalm, grounded leadership presence in unpredictable or fast-moving situationsCommitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care in a team-based environmentOur client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
