Schedule : Monday 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, Tuesday 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM, Thursday 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM, Friday 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM

Are you a motivated, team-oriented dental hygienist who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Springfield Dental Group is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our collaborative, family-style team. We're a 4-doctor practice with a large, energetic team focused on delivering exceptional care and service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene care
  • Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments, treatment planning, and execution
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal disease, and preventative care
  • Take digital x-rays and utilize intraoral scanning technology (iTero) when applicable
  • Maintain accurate patient records and charting
  • Foster positive patient relationships through exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate closely with the dental team in a fast-paced environment
  • Be proactive and adaptable in supporting team needs and patient care

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of dental hygiene experience required
  • Active Illinois dental hygiene license
  • Experience with Dentrix, iTero, and Microsoft Teams is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Positive attitude and flexible mindset
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player
  • Willingness to ask questions and grow in your role
  • High level of professionalism and commitment to patient care

  • Qualifications :

  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
  • Preferred Experience

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
