Job description

Position : Order Management Specialist

Department : Office / Administration

Location : San Jose, CA

Pay : $33.82 – $36.23 / hr

Duration : 2-month contract

Schedule : Standard business hours. May require evening / weekend availability during peak periods

Key Responsibilities :

Review and enter customer orders accurately, ensuring backlog quality and compliance
Manage order fulfillment from entry to completion, ensuring customer requirements are met
Communicate effectively with Sales, Manufacturing, Applications, and Installation teams
Provide shipping and billing instructions based on contract terms
Proactively resolve and escalate issues that could impact order delivery or customer satisfaction
Identify and categorize submission defects and assist in process improvements
Collaborate with peers on cross-functional and multi-business deals

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in order management or customer service

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high data-entry volumes

Willingness to work evenings and weekends during peak periods
