We are looking for a Bilingual HR Coordinator who can assist with day-to-day functions of the HR department. You will provide a wide range of administrative HR support and guidance at all business locations with regards to terminations, benefits, LOA, workers comp and any payroll-related questions.
- Responsible for the recruitment process for warehouse and transportation positions, collaborating with department managers to identify required skills and competencies.
- Onboarding of warehouse employees and drivers which includes all new hire / rehire paperwork, I9 verification and WOTC compliance.
- Completes and verifies Form I-9 documentation while maintaining accurate I-9 records.
- Conduct new hire orientation in English and Spanish.
- Responds to applicant inquiries regarding employment procedures.
- Maintains accurate and organized employee records.
- Assists with processing termination paperwork.
- Promotes company culture, core values, and policies.
- Provides customer service by addressing employee inquiries and requests.
- Supports employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive issues as needed.
- Assists in interpreting HR policies and responding to basic benefits-related questions.
- Supports the annual open enrollment process.
- Help coordinate company employee events.
- Performs various administrative tasks to support the Human Resources Department as needed.
Education :
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related fields and / or equivalent experience.2+ years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment required.Experience :
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Working understanding human resource principles, practices, and procedures.Strong time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.Well-versed in labor and employment laws.Knowledgeable in FMLA and leave of absence policies.Strong onboarding background.Ability to work independently and think a few steps ahead.Skilled in engaging with employees and management at all levels while handling confidential matters with discretion.Strong written communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.Must be able to translate during town hall meetings and employee events.Maintains complete discretion and upholds strict confidentiality in handling data and decision-making.Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure and operate with a keen sense of urgency and commitment to quality.Exceptional customer service skills.Other Requirements :
