As a Behavior Health Specialist (BHS) you provide individualized services that are designed to assist individuals with a behavioral health diagnosis (i.
e., SUD or mental health) in their personal recovery journey. Goals may be related to education, employment, personal relationships, developing coping skills to name a few examples.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s in Human Services or 1-3 years of relevant experience
Exceptional people skills and the ability to build strong relationships with individuals from any background
Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
For staff who have lived experience, there is a $900 bonus after becoming a certified NYS PEER Support while employed with Allwel.

Job Type : Per Diem
Pay : $40.00 per hour
Schedule : Per-diem, willing to potentially work 5-10 hours per week
