Title : Engineer (Electrical, Facilities, Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Systems, or Nuclear)

Place of Performance : Reston, VA

Mandatory Requirements : U.S. Citizenship and TS / SCI Clearance

JFL Consulting, LLC is seeking a full-time Engineer with a strong background in electrical, facilities, industrial, mechanical, chemical, systems or nuclear engineering to join our highly specialized team.

Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and diligently complete mission objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field. In lieu of a degree, with at least five (5) years of directly related operational experience may be a substitute.
• Applicant will require a minimum of 5 years in either designing, installing, maintaining and / or repairing multiple industrial systems (mechanical, electrical, and / or controls, etc.)
• Have a working knowledge of cooling, heating, ventilation, industrial water, wastewater, power, inert gas, compressed / instrument air, hydraulic, and / or fuel systems.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicant will be required to produce written technical reports, presentations and give briefings to technical and non-technical personnel.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Supported an engineering or utility department for an installation, facility or vessel (i.e. ship’s engine room).
• Supported nuclear, chemical, petrochemical or manufacturing facility(s).
• Experience in plant operations and processing operations to include process startup, operations and safety.

Other Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must possess TS / SCI clearance with CI polygraph
• Travel : Up to 10% travel required and the ability to travel on short notice
