Job description

A company is looking for a Payer Relations Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

Manage relationships with insurance payers to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for skilled nursing services

Verify patient insurance benefits, obtain prior authorizations, and resolve issues related to insurance coverage

Collaborate with admissions, billing, and clinical teams to ensure compliance with insurance requirements and optimize revenue cycle outcomes

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum of five years of prior related experience required

Prior experience in payroll in a LTC / SNF / AL / MC setting highly preferred

Must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player

Professional image in both appearance and behavior
