Location : Lancaster, PA

Shifts Available : 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, permanent opportunities

A leading food production facility in Lancaster is hiring Packing Operators across all shifts. These roles are essential in ensuring high-quality packaging, accurate labeling, and efficient operation of equipment in a fast-paced production setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate manual and automated packing equipment

Package finished goods securely according to specifications

Apply and verify labels (barcodes, product info, expiration dates)

Inspect products for quality defects and report any issues

Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment

Monitor machinery and perform basic maintenance / adjustments

Accurately record product counts, packaging data, and inventory activity

Follow all safety, sanitation, and GMP protocols

Qualifications :

2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or packing role

Experience in a food production facility strongly preferred

Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written)

Reliable transportation to and from work

Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Familiarity with packaging machinery is a plus
