Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Probate Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for probate litigation cases, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and deadlines, and providing exceptional support to clients throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of probate litigation documents
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
- Prepare trial binders and exhibits for court proceedings
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as needed
- Assist in the discovery process, including document review and production
- Support attorneys in trial preparation and strategy development
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on litigationStrong knowledge of probate law and proceduresProficiency in legal research tools and case management softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsFamiliarity with civil litigation and trust & estate matters is a plusBenefits
