Retirement Plan Manager

The Cato Corporation is seeking an experienced Retirement Plan Manager to join our HR Team!
JOB SUMMARY :
The Retirement Plan Manager reports to the SVP, Treasury, Tax & Credit, Secretary and manages and administers all aspects of the companys Retirement plans : 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and Deferred Compensation plans including the annual open enrollment process, compliance reporting and invoicing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- 401(k) : Day-to-day administration, which includes Quarterly Open Enrollment, Annual Non-Discrimination Testing and return of excess funds to highly compensated employees (HCEs), loans, Roll-Overs billing, Catch-Up Contribution determination, and other administrative tasks.
- ESPP : Bi-annual Open Enrollment and Stock Purchase, Quarterly Dividend Administration, Disqualifying Dispositions and Suspensions, Cancellations, and Refunds.
- ESOP : Annual Census and Eligibility reports, Distributions for termed associates, Diversification for eligible associates, minimum required distributions, Quarterly Associate Statements, and maintenance.
- NQ Deferred Compensation Plan : Annual Open Enrollment, HCE determination, Plan census and overview, billing, and maintenance.
- Annual External Audit : Work with third-party provider to compile data, answer questions on 401(k) and ESOP plans.
- Point of contact for current and former associates regarding all retirement plan questions and concerns.
- Provide backup support to the Benefits Manager, as needed.
- Assist with other ad hoc projects
QUALIFICATIONS : Required :
4-year college degree.At least 5 years direct experience in administering retirement plans.Knowledge of laws and regulations affecting retirement plans.Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Access primarily).Must be able to perform multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Excellent attention to detail.Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information.Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.Located in or willing to relocate to Charlotte, North Carolina.Preferred but Not Required :
