Job Description

Join our Warranty Technical Center (WTC) as a Data Analyst and help drive smarter decisions across the automotive warranty lifecycle. This advanced-level role focuses on parts-related warranty analytics, process automation, and strategic reporting that supports supplier recovery, product quality, and operational efficiency.

RESPONISBILITIES / What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain automated reporting pipelines using Alteryx, SQL, and Python for daily, weekly, and ad hoc insights.
  • Create dashboards and presentations in Power BI and PowerPoint to visualize warranty trends and part performance.
  • Analyze warranty claims data to identify failure patterns, cost drivers, and opportunities for supplier accountability.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Procurement teams to translate data into corrective actions.
  • Continuously improve data workflows, validation processes, and reporting logic for scalability and accuracy.
  • Maintain analytics infrastructure, troubleshoot Python scripts, and support technical environments.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, ideally in automotive, manufacturing, or warranty operations.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, Python, Alteryx, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related).
  • Bonus : Familiarity with warranty systems, parts catalogs, and supplier recovery processes.

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $34.00 to $38.00 hourly based on current experience.
