Then this position is for you! We are currently looking for an Operations Scheduling Coordinator Intern to join our team! The Operations Scheduling Coordinator Intern will be responsible for planning and scheduling daily work assignments, monitoring and tracking attendance and leaves, and scheduling, bidding, and payroll functions for the agency's Operators. This position may work various shifts, including weekends. The 2025 wage range is $33.40 - $45.08 per hour.
As an Operations Scheduling Coordinator Intern, you will :
Prioritize and assign work to relief Operators based on rotation hours and service requirements.Create and modify Operator work assignments and reconcile daily logs.Approve and track various Operator leave requests, including coordinating information with Payroll and HR departments, as per departmental policies.Conduct Operator service change, holiday, training, and annual vacation bids.Provide information to Operators about policies and procedures, union contract, and informational considerations related to scheduling, bidding, training, time-off requests, leave balances and usage, and pay hours. Address complaints and facilitate problem resolution.Train new Operators and Operations staff and supervisors in scheduling practices and procedures.Participate in committee meetings related to scheduling and the Operation Department interests.Are you the one we are looking for?
Associate's degree AND three (3) years of increasingly responsible administrative support experience; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Ability to demonstrate a high level of customer service.Ability to maintain confidentiality of departmental matters and personnel actions.High proficiency with Word, Excel, and database use, and experience in analyzing data and comparing various sources of information and preparing and maintaining a variety of records and reports.What's in it for you?
