Paid Search Manager is a leadership role within 829’s Marketing Services department.
This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, a great communicator, analytical, a natural leader, and willing to go the extra mile to get your work completed at a high level.
In this role, you’ll manage a strategic portfolio of clients, executing campaigns and coordinating with colleagues across marketing disciplines to drive collective success.
You’ll have the opportunity to mentor and coach junior colleagues & manage direct reports.

What You’ll Do Strategize, develop, and simultaneously maintain multiple digital advertising campaigns for a portfolio of medium-to-enterprise sized businesses.
Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns as they relate to client goals, conversions, and events.
Update clients regularly as to the status of their digital initiatives.
Prepare client deliverables from project kickoff documents to rolling reporting.
Advise clients on how to best accomplish their business goals through digital advertising.
Serve as a technical resource to other departments, committees, and your peers.
Conceptualize, vocalize, and implement departmental process improvements.
Assist with candidate interviews and the departmental hiring process.
Onboard, coach, and supervise one or more junior to senior reports.
What You’ll Bring A minimum of 6-8 years managing paid advertising programs. 2-3+ years of people management experience, along with coaching, mentorship and training Thorough understanding of various paid advertising tool sets such as Google Ads and Meta Ads.
Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Docs.
Deep understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hubspot Analytics, or similar.
Understanding of landing page best practices and optimization techniques.
Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com.
Experience with pixeling and conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager or other means.
Experience with reporting tools such as Google Data Studio, NinjaCat, TapClicks, or similar.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Exceptional time management and organization skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Experience juggling multiple projects and paid advertising campaigns simultaneously.
