Summary for  General Manager – Building Materials Industry

The General Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive sales growth, operational efficiency, and profitability. This leadership position requires hands-on engagement with day-to-day operations while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities  for  General Manager – Building Materials Industry

• Sales & Operations : Oversee branch sales, operations, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory control to meet or exceed goals.
• Team Leadership : Recruit, hire, train, and manage staff, including conducting performance reviews, addressing issues, and making personnel decisions.
• Budget Management : Take full accountability for budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control.
• Inventory Control : Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing waste and cost.
• Process Improvement : Develop and implement cost-effective measures for vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Customer Engagement : Solicit and respond to customer feedback, addressing deficiencies to ensure continuous improvement and satisfaction.
• Compliance : Ensure adherence to company programs, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Strategic Planning : Forecast product demand, labor efficiency, and operational needs to align with branch objectives.
• Other Duties : Attend relevant training sessions and take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
