Technical Program Manager
The Technical Program Manager will manage the schedule and implementation for specific data center projects involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on delivering new capacity. The TPM must have strong influencing skills and direct schedules while mitigating risks and blockers. To succeed, the TPM must organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule. Projects managed by the TPM begin with Delivery Build exiting the planning process and conclude with handover to our customers. The project encompasses all components of the build. This includes project planning, design, material ordering, networking, transportation, build, and handover. The TPM manages all of these work streams through partners and stakeholders. Each of these must be tracked and escalated quickly when blockers are encountered. The TPM must be able to manage a high degree of ambiguity and be able to lead a team through it. This means being able to breakdown novel, complex problems into appropriate pieces to enable systematic and repeatable solutions. This includes breaking down new technical blockers not previously encountered and resolving them. Problems often arise as new technologies present them and the TPM must continuously learn and adapt to new requirements.
