Accounting Coordinator

Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to support one of our clients in effectively managing their financial operations. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of daily accounting tasks. As an Accounting Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of accounting activities, including processing invoices, preparing financial reports, and assisting with reconciliations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key role in maintaining organized and accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities : Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely. Prepare and process invoices, reconciliations, and bank deposits Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting month-end and year-end close procedures. Maintain organized records of transactions, contracts, and other key financial documents. Collaborate with internal departments to address discrepancies and resolve accounting inquiries. Monitor and process expense reports and perform credit card reconciliations. Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Help identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency within the accounting function. Requirements A minimum of 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience. Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and GAAP. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel, including building spreadsheets and using advanced formulas. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. An associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
