Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant for our client in Burbank. You will provide administrative and case support to attorneys and paralegals throughout all phases of the litigation process.
Position Details:
- $25-$30
- Direct Hire Opportunity
- Onsite position
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain litigation calendars, including deadlines, hearings, and court appearances.
- Handle e-filing of court documents and ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
- Schedule and coordinate client meetings, depositions, and attorney appearances.
- Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and Judicial Council forms under attorney supervision.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Prepare and organize case files for hearings, trials, and meetings.
- Support attorneys and paralegals with on-demand tasks and administrative duties.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
- Proficient in litigation calendaring and understanding of statutory deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
