Position Title : SharePoint Developer Clearance Requirement : Public Trust Position Location : On-site, Washington, DC 9-month contract to hire Contact : Cdinnocenti@altaits.com Overview : Overview : We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer experienced in Microsoft 365 and Power BI to design, develop, and maintain enterprise collaboration and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical development expertise with an understanding of business processes to create scalable, data-driven applications that enhance productivity and decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and customize SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, and workflows. Create responsive SharePoint applications and automate business processes using Power Automate and Power Apps. Develop Power BI dashboards and reports integrating data from multiple sources, ensuring high usability and performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure deliverables meet functional and technical expectations. Manage SharePoint permissions, site collections, and governance policies. Support system migrations, integrations, and upgrades within the O365 ecosystem. Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and organizational standards. Provide end-user training, documentation, and technical support as needed. Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. 4+ years of experience developing and administering SharePoint Online and O365 environments. Hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report development. Proficiency in Power Automate, Power Apps, and related Power Platform tools. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SPFx (SharePoint Framework). Knowledge of REST APIs and integration with external data sources. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications : Microsoft Certified : Power Platform Developer Associate or SharePoint Developer certification. Experience with Azure services, including data connectors and automation tools. Familiarity with federal or large enterprise environments. Understanding of data governance and visualization best practices. Key Competencies : Strong analytical and technical design skills. Ability to translate business needs into functional applications. Detail-oriented, with strong documentation and organization skills. Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements.
