Front of House - PD

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE :

The Front of House staff member is responsible for assisting patrons, working in the bakery and storefront, and maintaining a clean kitchen and store environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Greets customers upon entrance and educates customers throughout their experience in the store.
• Assists store patrons in selecting their selections for donuts, drinks, or other items.
• Makes café items as trained.
• Responsible for cleaning all stations and dishes after use.
• Responsible for achieving store goals as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
• Follows all company policies, food safety standards, and kitchen procedures.
• Maintains strong communication skills and positive energy.
• Assists other team members during high-volume time periods.
• Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of their experience with the store.
• Handles customer complaints and concerns appropriately and brings them to the Shift Supervisor’s attention when necessary.
• Responsible for following all set up and closing protocols.
• Ensures that the store always looks clean and inviting.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

• High school diploma preferred.
• Restaurant or bakery experience preferred.

• The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, twist and turn body.
• Ability to traverse all parts of the store quickly.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
• This position does require the ability to perform under stressful conditions and high-volume demands.
