Job Description

The Project Manager, under the direction of the Director at the Undiagnosed Diseases Network (UDN) Data Management Coordinating Center (DMCC) in the Harvard Medical School (HMS) Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI), will play a central operational and administrative role within an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, researchers, bioinformaticians, and developers working to advance collaborative rare disease research. The UDN consists of the DMCC at HMS, 24 clinical sites, a sequencing core, and two model organism screening centers. Together, the UDN aims to :

• Provide answers for patients with undiagnosed conditions
• Generate new knowledge about disease mechanisms
• Assess the application of emerging phenotyping and genomic technologies

The Project Manager will be closely involved in case operations, protocol maintenance, meeting coordination, and internal communications for the UDN DMCC. They will play a key role on the UDN Central team by supporting the case activities outlined below.

Work Format Details

This is a position that is based at a Harvard campus location with some remote work options available. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. All remote work must be performed within one of the Harvard Registered Payroll States, which currently includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, and California (CA for exempt positions only). Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
