Plume is scaling its cloud organization to deliver a new generation of data-driven services at global scale. We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Director, Engineering to lead the design, development, and operation of our cloud platform. In this high-impact role, you will drive the strategy for highly available, distributed cloud services that process and manage data at petabyte scale. You will partner with product, engineering, and business leaders to define and execute the roadmap, while mentoring and building a world-class team of cloud engineers.

What You'll Do

• Define the strategic vision and technical roadmap for Plume's cloud services platform, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of cloud engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
• Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to translate business objectives into cloud architecture and execution plans.
• Oversee the full software lifecycle : from architecture and design, to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Establish and enforce best practices for coding, architecture, and operations across the organization.
• Drive adoption of modern cloud-native technologies, including container orchestration, CI / CD, observability, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Ensure compliance, cost optimization, and operational excellence across the cloud ecosystem.
• Act as an escalation point for critical production issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal business disruption.

Total Compensation package would include : anticipated base compensation range of $182,000.00 - $214,500.00 + bonus + equity + benefits.
