UX Product Yearlong Intern, 360

The UX Product Intern will directly contribute to user testing and user experience research initiatives through detailed ticket submissions, thorough QA work and clear documentation.
The UX Product Intern will work with a diverse set of cross-functional teams across product, production, research, design and development on projects and product features that strive to improve the user experience and performance of our pages.
The 360 Reviews team operates as a startup within the larger U.S. News organization, giving it a fast-moving, innovative culture, along with an established and respected media company.
Interns on the 360 research team have the opportunity to make a real impact on the development and direction of a U.S. News product.
Though 360 Reviews is based in our Washington, DC office, this position is open to remote workers.
Are you up to the challenge?
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide data driven insights and ensure the products we build bring value to users
Translate data into concise reports highlighting area for improvement and optimization
Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments to assess and optimize our categories and enhancements
Use applications including airtable, MS office suite, google sheets, and GA to organize and manage projects.
Position Requirements
You should definitely have :
Completion of a bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, business, UX / UI / UXD or a related field. Note : this is a full-time internship.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Intellectual curiosity about user testing, A / B testing, user experience research, user journeys, ecommerce, digital media and digital business.
A careful attention to detail and good problem solving abilities.
Proactive and self-motivated approach to your work. You should be able to work both independently and in conjunction with team members.
Strong communication and presentation skills; you should be responsive to questions and data requests from team members.
It would be nice if you had :
Proficiency in digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
Previous experience working with project management tools such as Airtable and Jira.
User testing, A / B testing or user research experience.
Entrepreneurial / startup experience.
