Senior Audit Manager - Public Sector & Not For Profit

Irvine, CA | Hybrid or remote in CA | Public Accounting | Full-Time

We're hiring a Senior Audit Manager with a minimum of 7 years of public accounting experience, specifically in auditing s tate and local governments, cities, counties, special districts, and related public entities.

What You'll Do :

Lead public sector audit engagements from planning to reporting

Oversee staff, review workpapers and financials, and ensure audit quality

Communicate directly with clients and manage project timelines and budgets

Stay current on GASB, Yellow Book, and Uniform Guidance standards

Help train and develop team members while supporting client relationships

What Were Looking For :

CPA license required

7+ years in public accounting with strong public sector audit experience and 2+ years in a Manager position

Deep knowledge of GAGAS, GASB, and Single Audits

Not-for-profit experience preferred

Proven leadership, technical, and client service skills

Experience with audit software (CCH, CaseWare, etc.)
