What would you do IN THIS POSITION
As the Director of Entrepreneurial Program & Funding at Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland, you will spearhead the council-wide revenue strategy for key initiatives such as the cookie program, retail operations, and mission funding. Your leadership will be instrumental in directing all mission-focused fundraising and sponsorship efforts, ensuring that our programs not only thrive but also empower the next generation of leaders. Are you the Director of Entrepreneurial Program & Funding we're looking for?
To excel as the Director of Entrepreneurial Program & Funding at Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland, a strong foundation in business, communications, or nonprofit management is essential, supported by a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Candidates must possess a minimum of four years of experience in fundraising, product program management, business development, or retail management, demonstrating a proven ability to lead teams effectively while managing budgets and driving strategic initiatives. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are crucial for fostering partnerships and engaging community stakeholders. Additionally, candidates should have strong analytical capabilities and data-informed decision-making skills to guide revenue development efforts effectively.
The role also requires a willingness to travel 20%-25% across GSMH's 67-county service area to identify and nurture local funding partnerships that align with our mission.
All employees must have access to secure, reliable internet, and although the position is remote, the person hired will be required to work from and travel within the council's jurisdiction.
