Sign-On Bonus : Up to $15,000! Are you an experienced aircraft mechanic ready to take your career to the next level? Join our team and make a difference as a Senior A&P Mechanic, specializing in medium / heavy helicopters in Redding, CA.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic, with experience in maintenance, sheet metal repairs, and / or avionics troubleshooting.
  • Candidates must live within a one-hour drive or sixty (60) miles (whichever is greater) of their primary base of residence.
  • Travel between bases is required as part of the role.
  • Basic communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment), drug screening, and background check.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently and work varying schedules, including night shifts.

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopters to ensure airworthiness and safety.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls, including sheet metal repairs and avionics troubleshooting.
  • Adhere to FAA regulations and company maintenance policies.
  • Document all maintenance actions and ensure compliance with technical publications.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
